Application:

General pupose capillary thermostats are widely used for maintaining the required temperature of an air or liquids in different kinds of electric appliances such as water heaters, boilers, washing machines, dryers, fan heaters, electric ovens and other kitchen equipment.

Design features:

Operation of capillary thermostats is based on liquids property to increase their volume when heated. A rise in temperature causes an expansion of the liquid inside a capillary and a bulb. It acts on a diaphragm installed in a thermostat housing and switches electrical contacts. This is how temperature regulation is performed inside the controllable device. Capillary thermostat does not consume electricity what makes it highly energy-efficient. Nominal contacts load is 16A at 250V AC. Sensing bulb and capillary tube can be made of stainless steel or copper depending on a model. There are two series of capillary thermostats produced by Essima - WKB and WKC with different design of the body. Operating temperature of our products ranges from 0°C to 350°C. Each item has a mounting bracket with two threaded holes M4 and center distance 28 mm. Models of Essima capillary thermostats and their characteristics are specified in a table below. Products with other characteristics are available on request.
