Intended use:
In those cases when condensation and low temperature can cause failures in operation of electric equipment mounted in control cabinets it is essential to use heating devices. They can be installed together with adjusting thermostat and hygrostat to ensure the required temperature level and humidity in electric cabinets for a long period of time, thus, providing smooth operation of control systems.
Design features:
Essima product line of heating devices for electric cabinets consists of two series — HG 140 and HVL 031. HG 140 series contains 7 models of PTC heaters with power range 15W...150W. PTC technology employed in this series is notable for its ability to control maximum heating temperature and, thus, avoid overheating. Adjusting thermostat is still required in the cabinet to keep temperature level within desired limits. The heaters body is made of extruded aluminium profile with anodised coating to protect material against corrosion. Its design provides a chimney effect with the most even heat distribution. HG 140 heater series has a special fixing clip for installation on stardard 35 mm DIN rail to ensure quick and easy setup. Pressure clamp connectors allow attachment of rigid and stranded wire with maximum cross-section 2.5 mm2 (when used with cable end ferrule — 1.5 mm2).
HVL 031 series is presented by five high performance compact heaters with built-in axial fan for better heat distribuition and protection against overheating. Power range of the series — 100W...400W. Each HVL 031 heater is equipped with temperature safety cut-out to provide additional protection in case of fan failure. Body of the device is made of die-cast aluminium and has a flat shape for maximum space-saving inside the cabinet. Connection of wires with cross-section up to 2.5 mm2 by means of screw clamps.
